Sanders is considered one of the nation’s most accomplished marketing and operational infrastructure developers. Her initial start in the marketing world, after working within her family’s restaurants since her teen years in multiple positions, was as a brand manager with Spectrum Brands – the company having recruited her straight out of business school (Olin Business School at Washington University).

In the 14 years following that initial industry position, Sanders was recruited by major industry brands to develop and lead national build-outs and operations for Boston Market, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Smashburger, and Jackson Hewitt Tax Services, in varying roles of responsibility – including that of senior marketing director; VP & SVP of marketing and communications; and as VP of Strategy & Revenue Optimization for Subway.

Her expertise in the fast-casual and chain restaurant industry markets became quickly apparent and allowed her the opportunity to serve hundreds of dedicated franchise owners and business development agents in their efforts to improve the overall value for each company’s entire customer base. This area is one in which Sanders serves a key role for FC Development Corp. – creating business development content and marketing plans to drive awareness, sales, and traffic growth for the company’s corporate and franchise models.
